Just had a lovely, long, gushy talk with a patron about Sherlock Holmes in general, Sherlock, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

So grateful there was no one else in line, lending me the time to get all fangirly with this old lady.

I've actually been meaning to do this for some time. Where-in I unsuccinctly try to make a point about the similarities between Herbert West, Sherlock Holmes, and their relationships with Watson/Dan through screencaps from the '82 Re-Animator movie and BBC's Sherlock

While in the first half of the year I did pick-up some new fandoms in the form of Inspector Morse and its spin-off Lewis (and my new crush on Kevin Whately had me watching Auf Weidershen, Pet) they were not shows I could be actively fannish about.
